Planning a trip to Disneyland this season? There have been quite a few updates to the plant-based menu recently! While many exciting new delicious options have taken their place, some of our longtime favorites from the November 2025 list have been swapped out or removed. This post highlights our current personal favorites to help make your dining decisions easier. Believe it or not, we haven’t tried everything in the park, so have fun discovering your own faves! As always, look for the green leaf icon on menus and in the Disneyland app to easily identify vegan-friendly dishes.

QUICK MEALS
- Hacienda Salad — Rancho del Zocalo (NEW FAVE!)
- Note: This replaces the Soy Chorizo con Papa Tacos
- Pro-tip: This side menu includes rice, beans (ask them to hold the cheese!), corn tortillas, and Salsa Fresca, which you can add on for a great plant based meal. Or just grab a bag of Crispy Chips con Limon!
- Caesar Salad Garden Wrap (served with shoestring fries) — Café Daisy
- Note: This replaces the Spring Wrap with House-Made Chips
- Ratatouille Soup (served in a Boudin Bakery sourdough bread bowl) — Harbor Galley
- Note: This replaces the Roasted Corn Soup
- Bulgogi Bean Salad — Bengal Barbecue
- Note: This replaces the Vegetable Skewers and the Hummus Trio
- Felucian Kefta Garden Spread (the classic version is back!) — Docking Bay 7
- Pro-tip: Meiloorun Juice from Ronto Roasters has now been added to the menu here, too—so you can grab both of our favorites at once!
- Little Town Harvest Bowl — Red Rose Taverne (now available all day!)
- Note: They recently swapped the tater tots for shoestring fries, and we haven’t tried the new version.

SIT DOWN MEALS
There are several sit-down restaurants with a full course plant based menu. So far we’ve only dined at River Belle and Blue Bayou, but we hope to get to the others soon!
Blue Bayou:
- Magnolia Park Pasta (NEW FAVORITE!)
- Crescent City Salad
- Crème Brûlée Tart (not new, but a FAVE!)
- Note: This replaces the former Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad and Pistachio Lemon Basil Pasta.
- Pro-Tip: This restaurant will close for refurbishment 5/4/2026 til late May or Early June 2026.
Café Orleans
- Provençal Bean & Herb Pesto Salad,Garden Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie, and Crème Brûlée Tart
Carnation Café
- Carnation Garden Salad, Hearty Veggie Burger (served with mixed fruit), and Brownie with Chocolate Sauce (served with dairy free vanilla ice cream)
River Belle Terrace
- Impossible™ Meatloaf (served with Roasted Potatoes, Garden Farm Vegetables) (NEW FAVORITE!)
- Farmhouse Salad (Garden Greens, Garden Farm Vegetables, Avocado and Heirloom Tomatoes)
- Chocolate Brownie (served with Vanilla Ice Cream, Marshmallows and Toasted Almonds)
- Note: This menu set replaces both the Grain Bowl, Deviled Meatball Skillet, and Blueberry Cobbler. Best of all, these items are now available for both Lunch and Dinner service.

FROZEN TREATS
- Dole Whip and Dole Whip Floats (Pineapple) — Tiki Juice Bar (must order via mobile app)
- Dole Whip and Dole Whip Floats (Pineapple, Strawberry & Peach) — Tropical Hideaway (walk-up friendly)
- Pro-tip: Try two flavors swirled together for extra fun!
- Blue Milk, Green Milk — and now Pink Milk! — Milk Stand
- Note: We have not tried the new Pink flavor, but have heard it’s very sweet, like bubblegum.
- Boysen Apple Freeze (modify for vegan-friendly) — Maurice’s Treats
- Pro-tip: Be sure to request NO whipped cream topping.

QUICK SNACKS
You’ll also find fresh fruit, pickles, applesauce, trail mix, chips, and other snacks at many carts throughout the parks. Popcorn served at multiple vending carts is vegan (made without butter), and Mickey Pretzels (hold the cheese) remain a reliable vegan classic.
Keep an eye out for the Snacks with Character line—these are plainly marked VEGAN and include plant-based Cheddar, BBQ, and Churro Flavored Puffs, as well as the gelatin-free Marshmallow Rice Treat and Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Squares. This line caters to different food allergies, which is quite helpful for those with extra dietary needs!
Sadly, the “accidentally vegan” Main Street Caramel Popcorn has been replaced by the standard dairy version in the snack shops, but don’t worry—the Main Street Kettle Corn is vegan-friendly and quite yummy! We also really love the “accidentally vegan” Grogu branded He Is Strong Blue Raspberry Jellies you can find in candy stores.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR VEGAN PARK-GOERS
- Anything listed under the Plant Based Menu on the app or marked by the green leaf icon on physical menus are vegan by default, meaning no meat, dairy, eggs, honey or other animal based ingredients are included. Don’t be scared when a plant based item says “cheese” — that will be a plant based product.
- The Lamplight Chilaquiles are vegan-friendly only by request. All other items listed here should be vegan as ordered, but double-check when in doubt.
- Many snacks and treats in shops or carts are plant-based, just check the labels or ask a cast member. Some of the clearly marked snacks include Caramel Popcorn, “Snacks with Character” Marshmallow Rice Treat, “Snacks with Character” Puffs in Churro, BBQ, and Cheddar Flavor (yes, it says VEGAN right on the package), “He Is Strong” Blue Raspberry Jellies, and Enjoy Life Foods chocolate bars.
- Menus can change and offerings may rotate, especially during seasonal events. For the latest, use the Disneyland app or ask at each restaurant.
As Ryan says, “It doesn’t suck being vegan!” At least, not at Disneyland!
