Oil Free Salt Free Potato Logs and Catsup Recipe Demo

Anji’s back in the HHV kitchen for another vegan Raw Till 4 recipe demo. By your request, she’s making salt and oil free potato logs with home made ketchup. (You’ll see why she calls it “catsup” in the video…) Now, even though she skips onions, garlic, salt and oil in this condiment, its still got some strong spices, so this recipe is not for the natural hygiene crowd. Still, it is a much healthier alternative to most of the store bought ketchup in the markets and its fun to make — and even more fun to eat!

INGREDIENTS:
5 lbs potatoes (Idaho or other “baking” potato)
5 oz organic salt free tomato paste
1/2 cup filtered water
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Italian Herb Blend
1 tsp Dried Mustard
2 shakes Black Pepper
1 shake Cayenne Pepper (or more, to taste)
3 shakes Cinnamon Powder
1shake Ground All Spice
2 shakes Ground Cloves
1 tsp Celery Powder
1 tsp Pure Maple Syrup

You’ll also need parchment paper for your baking sheet.
