Ryan and Anji’s September single —which dropped early as a Bandcamp Friday exclusive— now comes to streaming platforms. “The duo’s new single”Strange Air” brings the Scorpio Season vibe, with the mysterious atmosphere of dream pop melding with the smoky undertones of trip-hop and neo-soul. Intimate female vocals capture the magnetic, almost dangerous chemistry of a Mars-Venus connection striking from out of the blue, while beautifully emotive acoustic and electric guitar, antique piano, and light, jazzy drums help to conjure a numinous enchantment. Dim the lights and get deep in your feelings with this one.
